No Name
Cafe
From a blank canvas to a bold identity
A cup that tells two stories at once
The logo concept was as bold as the café itself — a single cup split down the middle: one half brimming with golden beer, the other deep with rich coffee. Two worlds. One vessel. A visual metaphor for a space that welcomes every kind of gathering, from the early morning espresso to the evening wind-down.
Built entirely from scratch by Antraajaal, the mark communicates duality, warmth, and the café's unapologetic character — all before a single word is read.
Confidence in Blue & Gold
Blue was chosen for its depth and sense of trust — a colour that anchors. Gold was chosen for warmth and aspiration — a colour that welcomes. Together, they position No Name Cafe as a premium, yet approachable destination.
Three women, one vision, zero templates
When three female entrepreneurs approached Antraajaal with a dream of opening a café in the heart of Mansa Devi Complex, Chandigarh, they brought with them something rare: complete openness. No existing logo, no prior brand guidelines, no legacy to conform to. Just ambition, clarity of character, and the courage to start from absolute zero.
That blank canvas became our greatest brief. Every colour, every word, every touchpoint was designed with intention — built to express a space that is distinctly female-led, warmly social, and uncompromisingly premium.
Every touchpoint, considered
Words that feel like the space
We didn't just name the personality — we built a language system around it.
Why a cup split in two changes everything
Most café logos play it safe — a leaf, a bean, a steaming mug. We went somewhere different. The brief called for a space that serves both craft coffee and premium beverages, and the logo needed to communicate that dual identity without explanation.
The split cup is a visual shorthand that does in a glance what a tagline cannot. It tells you this is a place that doesn't choose — it contains multitudes.
- Instantly communicates the dual café + bar concept
- The vertical split creates a memorable, unexpected visual tension
- Gold and blue halves mirror the brand's colour palette naturally
- Scales beautifully from a 16px favicon to a 10-foot wall mural
- Works in single colour, embossed, or reversed — total versatility
