Antraajaal's Commitment to DORA and Responsible Research Assessment
Advancing Research Quality, Academic Integrity and Responsible Evaluation
At Antraajaal, we recognise that the advancement of knowledge depends on the quality, originality, integrity and meaningful contribution of scholarly research.
As an organisation engaged in branding, digital communication, academic content and editorial-related activities, we acknowledge the importance of responsible research assessment (RRA) in strengthening the academic publishing ecosystem.
We support the principles of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) and its global mission to improve the evaluation of scholarly research and researchers across disciplines.
Our Understanding of DORA
The San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) is a global initiative advocating improvements in the assessment of scholarly research. It encourages research evaluation based on the quality and impact of individual research contributions rather than relying predominantly on journal-based metrics, such as the Journal Impact Factor.
We recognise that responsible research assessment promotes fairness, transparency, academic diversity and the recognition of different forms of scholarly contributions.

Our Institutional Commitments
Antraajaal is committed to supporting responsible research assessment through the following principles:
-
01
Research Quality Over Journal Metrics
We believe that the intrinsic quality, originality, relevance and contribution of research should take precedence over journal rankings and impact factors.
-
02
Transparency and Fairness
We support transparent, objective and fair research evaluation practices that recognise scholarly merit and intellectual contribution.
-
03
Recognition of Diverse Research Outputs
We acknowledge the value of different forms of scholarly contributions, including research articles, reviews, datasets, methodologies, software and other academic outputs.
-
04
Academic Integrity and Ethical Publishing
We support ethical scholarly communication, appropriate attribution, responsible authorship, accurate referencing and transparency in academic content.
-
05
Responsible Use of Research Indicators
We recognise that citation counts, h-index, journal impact factors and other quantitative indicators should be interpreted contextually and responsibly, rather than used as standalone measures of research quality.
-
06
Encouraging Research Excellence
We encourage a research culture that values originality, interdisciplinary collaboration, critical thinking, innovation and meaningful contributions to society.
Our Implementation Roadmap
To translate these commitments into practice, Antraajaal intends to:
- Review relevant academic editorial and research communication practices in line with DORA principles.
- Promote awareness of responsible research assessment among relevant authors, editors and academic collaborators.
- Encourage the evaluation of scholarly work based on its content, quality and contribution rather than journal prestige alone.
- Support transparent communication of research credentials, publication information and scholarly contributions.
- Periodically review our approach and identify opportunities to strengthen responsible research assessment practices.
These commitments will be developed progressively in accordance with the nature and scope of our academic and editorial activities.
Accountability and Continuous Improvement
We believe responsible research assessment is an ongoing commitment that requires awareness, transparency and continuous improvement.
Antraajaal welcomes constructive dialogue with researchers, authors, editors, academic institutions and other stakeholders working towards a fairer and more responsible research ecosystem.
We are committed to reviewing our practices and strengthening our contribution to academic integrity and responsible scholarly communication.
