PGIMER's Premier Trauma
Surgery Conference — Marketed
to Surgeons Across India.

PGIMER Chandigarh is India's most respected postgraduate medical institution — a name that carries immediate authority across the entire medical community. When the Department of General Surgery organised the Comprehensive Trauma Management Course for Surgeons (CTMCS) 2026, they needed more than a website and some social media posts. They needed a digital presence and a marketing campaign that would reach surgical residents, general surgeons and trauma care professionals across India — and convert that reach into confirmed delegate registrations before March 13th.

CTMCS 2026 was a landmark medical CME. In collaboration with the Government of India's Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Burns (under NPPMT & BI), the two-day conference at the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGIMER addressed one of the most important gaps in Indian surgical training — trauma management. The course brought together high-profile surgeons to cover damage control resuscitation, battlefield trauma principles applied to civilian practice, triage under resource-limited conditions, and the leadership skills that trauma environments demand. A cadaveric workshop made it unique among surgical CMEs in India.

The brief to Antraajaal was outcome-driven: build the event website that could handle registrations, abstract submissions and brochure downloads — and run the digital marketing campaigns that would fill the delegate seats and make the cadaveric workshop a success.

PGIMER's name gave the event instant authority. Antraajaal's job was to ensure that authority reached the right audience — surgical residents in teaching hospitals across India who were exactly the people CTMCS 2026 was designed to equip — and convert their interest into registrations before the event date.

The Website That Became
Every Delegate's First Point of Contact
with CTMCS 2026.

I
Event Identity & First Impression

The pgigsacademy.org website was the event's digital home — the first place a surgeon across India landed when they heard about CTMCS 2026. Antraajaal designed the site to communicate the event's prestige immediately: the PGIMER institutional authority, the Government of India collaboration credential, the high-profile faculty, and the unique cadaveric workshop component that made CTMCS 2026 distinct from every other surgical CME in India that year.

II
Registration System & Conversion Pathway

The website's primary function was converting visiting surgeons into registered delegates. The registration pathway was designed for minimal friction — the call to action was always visible, the registration process was clear and straightforward, and the site communicated the scarcity of the cadaveric workshop specifically (limited seats) to create the urgency that conference registrations require. Separate registration flows for the main conference and the cadaveric workshop, with the workshop ultimately filling to capacity and closing registrations.

III
Scientific Programme & Abstract Submission

The scientific programme PDF was embedded and downloadable from the website — giving surgical faculty and potential delegates the detailed session breakdown they needed to evaluate the conference's academic depth. An abstract submission system allowed surgical researchers to submit their work for presentation at CTMCS 2026, expanding the event's academic reach and drawing additional delegates whose abstracts were accepted.

IV
Delegate Information & Logistics

For delegates travelling to Chandigarh from across India, the website provided complete logistical support — venue details for NINE at PGIMER, a curated "Places to Visit Near Chandigarh" section for delegates combining the conference with a Chandigarh visit, brochure download, organising committee information and contact details. A complete delegate experience designed to remove every barrier between "I'm interested" and "I'm registered."

03 — Digital Marketing — Registrations Across India

The Campaigns That Reached
Surgeons in Teaching Hospitals
Across India.

CTMCS 2026's target audience — surgical residents, general surgeons and trauma care professionals — is a specific, professionally dense audience scattered across India's teaching hospitals and medical colleges. Reaching them required targeted digital campaigns that understood where this audience spent their professional digital time and what would motivate them to register for a two-day conference in Chandigarh.

💼
LinkedIn — Surgical Professional Targeting
LinkedIn campaigns targeting doctors, surgeons, surgical residents and medical academics by job function and institution type — teaching hospitals, government medical colleges and private super-speciality centres across India. The professional network where surgical communities share CME announcements and conference information. PGIMER's institutional credibility made the LinkedIn campaign immediately trustworthy — a conference from India's premier postgraduate medical institution needed no further qualification.
🔍
Google Search — CME & Conference Searches
Search campaigns targeting the specific terms that surgeons used when looking for CMEs — "trauma surgery conference 2026", "surgical CME India", "PGIMER conference 2026", "damage control surgery course India". High-intent searches from exactly the audience CTMCS needed — surgeons who were already looking for continuing medical education opportunities and would respond immediately to a PGIMER-branded result at the top of their search.
📲
WhatsApp Campaign — Surgical Departments
Targeted WhatsApp messaging to surgical departments, resident doctor groups and medical college WhatsApp communities — the most direct channel to the doctors who were CTMCS 2026's primary audience. Event flyer, programme highlight, registration link and the cadaveric workshop scarcity message (limited seats, early registration closes) delivered directly into the professional communication channels that surgical residents used daily.
📱
Social Media — Medical Community Reach
Facebook and Instagram campaigns targeted to the medical professional demographic — building awareness of CTMCS 2026 across the broader surgical community. Speaker spotlight content, conference topic teasers, the PGIMER and Government of India collaboration credentials, and countdown content in the final weeks before registration deadlines. Organic content building the event's authority and reach across medical social media communities.
